Trying to find new music to listen to? Get tired of listening to the same songs over and over? Well, the music division of HYPEBEAST is proud to present HYPEBEAST Music Playlist, our new weekly playlist. Curated by the HYPEBEAST music team, the playlist will feature new releases across all genres from a wide range of artists and talents not covered regularly on the web. For consistency, it will be updated every week with new music drops over the course of the previous weeks.

For HYPEBEAST Music Playlist 002, the staff spotlighted a wide array of artists from many genres of music including Afrobeat, international acts, and a few mellow tunes.

Afrobeat continues to get bigger every year and a few acts are finding success outside of their regions. Names such as Mr Eazi, DaVido and WizKid are becoming international stars and ushering in a generation of new acts who are following their footsteps.

You never know what international star will crossover into the States, however, music lovers shouldn’t wait till that happens. Taipei-bred Sunset Rollercoaster are making some of the most refreshing music right now; take a listen to their most recent project Cassa Nova, which was released earlier this year.

With it being officially summer, you will need some soothing jams to listen to while you enjoy your day of activities. Other artists highlighted on HYPEBEAST Music Playlist 002 that should fill that need are Sobs, GoldLink, Stimulator Jones, Azbenzz, among others.
