Charli Cohen Looks to the Dark Web for Fall/Winter 2018

For its Fall/Winter 2018 collection — titled “ANON” — technical label Charli Cohen has taken inspiration from the dark web and the contradictions that exist on the “mysterious underbelly of the Internet.” The un-policed space — which has been used for everything from drug deals to academic research — is referenced in unexpected fabric combinations, textures and pixelated prints throughout the collection.

For this season’s color palette, Charli Cohen has imagined a camouflage fit for the virtual world, with grays and earth tones sitting alongside metallics and shades such as “Cyber Violet.” This capsule also sees the label continue to use performance fabrics, including new technical takes on denim and merino wool. Key pieces in this collection include military-influenced utility coats, reworked bomber jackets and graphic-printed T-shirts. The first pieces from “ANON” have already dropped on the Charli Cohen web store, with the rest of the collection set to arrive in August.
