PUMA’s new Mostro Freedom sneakers arrive in two versatile colorways – “Shadow Grey” and “Olive Green” – reviving the bold late‑’90s silhouette with modern materials, sculptural soles and breathable uppers tailored for lifestyle wear.
The design reinterprets the original 1999 Mostro, itself influenced by 1968 sprint spikes and 1980s surf shoes, balancing sharp, aggressive sole geometry with softer, everyday construction. Both colorways feature coarse mesh uppers for lightweight breathability and a streamlined profile. The “Shadow Grey” edition emphasizes tonal restraint, while “Olive Green” pairs deep green accents with black overlays for stronger contrast.
