Vans elevates its iconic footwear lineage with the upcoming release of the Vans OTW Slip-On 98 Knot Vibram pack.

Based on the original Style 98 silhouette that became a southern California youth culture staple in the late 1970s, this new iteration completely reimagines the effortless skate shoe. The defining feature is an oversized rope knot placed directly across the vamp, injecting a sculptural, luxurious visual interest to the traditionally minimalist upper.

Performance and comfort receive equal attention in this premium update. The sneaker sits on a custom Vibram outsole equipped with a rugged tank tread, ensuring superior grip across all surfaces. Inside, upgraded construction pairs with a Sola Foam ADC cushioned insole for an enhanced, durable feel. Additional heritage design elements include a higher sidewall with a gloss finish and foxing tape inspired by original 90s Osnaburg reinforced outsoles.

Two distinct material combinations define the launch. The first arrives in a black and off-white colorway crafted from textured hairy suede, while the second option pairs Daphne blue and white using a structured, heavyweight canvas. Both variations maintain the classic elastic side panels and padded collars for easy on-and-off functionality
