Patta and Nike are rumored to be expanding their collaborative footprint into performance soccer with the upcoming Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite FG “Waves.” Moving beyond its lifestyle origins, the Amsterdam-based label is reportedly bringing its signature aesthetic directly to the pitch.
The rumored cleat draws clear inspiration from the duo’s popular 2021 Air Max 1 “Noise Aqua.” Suggested details indicate a wavy mudguard constructed from synthetic materials, accompanied by matching aqua tones on the Swoosh and heel branding. The upper is said to combine silver Flyknit and Gripknit technologies for a sleek, modern fit, all resting atop an iridescent plate designed for firm-ground traction.
