Summary

  • Jordan Brand is celebrating the upcoming 2026 World Cup with a brand-new “Brazil” colorway of the classic Air Jordan 3
  • Tennis phenom Carlos Alcaraz recently revealed the highly anticipated sneaker during a photo shoot wearing the brand’s official Brazil kit
  • Featuring a vibrant mix of the nation’s signature colors, the $225 USD silhouette is slated to launch on May 16 as part of a broader football-inspired rollout

As the globe gears up for the 2026 World Cup, Jordan Brand is quietly preparing its own tournament-ready storytelling. The sportswear giant is set to release a special-edition Air Jordan 3 “Brazil,” positioning the vibrant new drop as a lead piece in a much larger, global football moment arriving just before the opening matches kick off this summer.

Building massive momentum for the upcoming release, tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz was recently spotted wearing the unreleased pair during a new photo shoot, perfectly styled alongside Jordan Brand’s official Brazil apparel kit. The fresh on-foot imagery highlights a bold, layered blue leather upper contrasted by a playful pink tongue and collar, a striking yellow sole, and lucky green eyelet hits that distinctly echo the colors of the Brazilian flag without relying on overt iconography.

While the vibrant color palette—officially dubbed Racer Blue, Lucky Green, Blue Void, and Varsity Maize—pushes the silhouette into striking new territory, the final build retains the beloved traditional cues of the model. The design keeps the iconic visible elephant print overlays intact, rounding out the look with the classic “Nike Air” branding stamped proudly on the heel.

The highly anticipated drop serves as a spiritual successor to Jordan Brand’s 2014 “Brazil Pack” (which previously featured the Air Jordan 6), marking another significant cultural crossover between the hardwood and the pitch.

The Air Jordan 3 “Brazil” is scheduled to release on May 16, 2026, via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers.
