Summary
- Haas F1 unveils a Godzilla-themed livery for the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix
- The collaboration with Toho promotes the upcoming film Godzilla Minus Zero
- A second Godzilla livery will run at the United States Grand Prix in October
The Haas F1 team has introduced a special Godzilla-themed car livery for the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix, marking the team’s first collaboration with an entertainment intellectual property. Unveiled ahead of the race weekend, the design features the iconic nuclear-powered reptile blowing atomic breath from the engine cover toward the sidepod. The partnership with long-time Godzilla studio Toho is designed to promote the upcoming film Godzilla Minus Zero, a direct sequel to the Oscar-winning epic Godzilla Minus One.
The season-long collaboration will also bring the cinematic monster to the United States Grand Prix near Austin, Texas, in October. The American race weekend strategically precedes the US theatrical premiere of Godzilla Minus Zero in early November. This promotional deal exists exclusively alongside the Japanese film franchise, remaining separate from the concurrent American Monsterverse movies produced by Legendary and Warner Bros.
Haas F1’s venture into entertainment sponsorships follows a strong start to the 2026 Formula 1 season. Having already secured Toyota’s Gazoo Racing as a title sponsor over the offseason, the team currently sits fourth in the championship standings after scoring points in the opening races.
