Cactus Plant Yeat Market Is Here
With ‘ADL’ just hours away, King Tonka follows up on his collaborative Nike work with a slate of Cactus Plant Flea Market box sets.
If there’s one thing about King Tonka, he’s going to put his foot on the gas. As Yeat‘s anticipated ADL opus nears – just under 48 hours away, but who’s counting – the rapper has revealed yet another monumental fashion collaboration in support of the project.
On the heels of his collaborative suite with Nike, Yeat has since gotten in the lab with Cactus Plant Flea Market for a lineup of co-branded box sets for A DANGEROUS LYFE / A DANGEROUS LOVE.
There are two different box set iterations, each of which comes equipped with a graphic tee, an ADL CD, and a collectable box. The first is dubbed the “Neon Sign” box set, which features a co-branded T-shirt stamped with neon green puff-painted ADL iconography, along with gray CPFM hits throughout.
As for the second, that one’s entitled the “Chat Room” set. The graphic tee in this set comes emblazoned with white puff-painted “a / d / l ? ” on the front and reads “You Are In Yeat’s Chat Room” on the back side, layered atop some CPFM branding.
Both of the graphic tees are exclusive to the box sets.
The CPFM x ADL release points to a natural extension of the pair’s creative partnership, and Yeat’s personal affinity for the brand; after all, the rapper was one of the first A-listers to be spotted in the new CPFM x Nike ACG merchandise before its drop.
At large, the collaborative fashion component of Yeat’s ADL rollout has remained a key focus for the rapper throughout the album’s trajectory, potentially ushering in a new era of fashion-forward album rollouts. Only time will tell, but until then, cop a CPFM x ADL piece now, and revisit our feature on Yeat’s Nike hot streak here.
