Bremont has announced a new collaborative Altitude MB Meteor timepiece starring the titular feline character from Felix the Cat, fusing the British watchmaker’s aviation heritage with the mischievous charm of one of animation’s most enduring icons.
Developed in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, the collaboration celebrates Felix’s long association with U.S. Navy aviation squadrons, particularly VFA‑31 “Tomcatters,” where the character has been a symbol of courage and good luck for generations of pilots. The campaign for this release, aptly titled “Watch Your Six,” draws on fighter‑pilot terminology and reinforces Bremont’s commitment to joyful watchmaking rooted in military aviation culture.
Built on the foundation of the 42mm Altitude MB Meteor, the reference is engineered to withstand the extreme procedures used in testing Martin-Baker aircraft ejection seats. This iteration features a stealthy, black DLC-finished Grade 2 titanium case and a 3-part Trip-Tick construction. The matte black dial showcases Felix the Cat cheekily running away with the number 6, which is filled with blue-emission Super-LumiNova for high visibility. Other design signatures of the MB series remain, including the yellow-and-black looped “ejection” pull handle on the seconds hand and a bidirectional rotating inner bezel operated by a crown at 4 o’clock.
Powering the timepiece is the Bremont BB14-AH movement, which offers a 68-hour power reserve and is protected by a flexible rubber shock mount and soft-iron anti-magnetic shielding.
