Assouline's 'Derrick Rose: The Poohprint' To Arrive With Exclusive HBX Hong Kong Meet and Greet
The book offers a comprehensive look into the life and enduring legacy of the Chicago basketball icon.
Assouline has officially announced Derrick Rose: The Poohprint, an intimate new book crafted in collaboration with the basketball legend himself. Arriving as a 287-page hardcover, the publication offers a deep dive into the life of the once-in-a-generation explosive talent and beloved Chicago native.
Penned by veteran sports journalist Scoop Jackson, who closely monitored Rose’s trajectory from his days at Simeon Career Academy, the book sheds light on the star’s multifaceted roles as a player, teammate, friend, and father. The Poohprint traces his path both on and off the hardwood, highlighting his resilience, cultural impact, and investment in Chicago’s youth.
Visually, the release is packed with exclusive archival content. It features never-before-published childhood photographs saved by his mother, alongside images marking significant life milestones. The project also includes handwritten letters and notes from Rose’s trusted inner circle, including his brother Greedy and former teammate Joakim Noah.
For the regional launch, HBX stands as the exclusive retailer in Hong Kong.
