Kevin Hart is no longer just a titan of comedy, he is officially a stakeholder in the future of global brand ownership. The world-renowned entertainer, producer, and entrepreneur has announced a transformative strategic partnership with Authentic Brands Group (Authentic), the massive sports, media, and lifestyle platform. In a move that mirrors the business trajectories of icons like David Beckham and Shaquille O’Neal, Hart and Authentic will now co-own and manage the Kevin Hart brand, utilizing Authentic’s world-class infrastructure to penetrate new markets and product verticals.
Beyond the management deal, Hart has officially become a shareholder in Authentic, a company that owns over 50 brands and generates a staggering $32 billion USD in annual retail sales. With a personal reach of nearly 300 million social media followers, Hart’s influence will now be channeled through Authentic’s global network to scale everything from consumer products to digital platforms and live experiences. “This partnership is about acceleration, growth and diversification,” Hart stated. “Becoming a shareholder allows me to co-own some of the most recognizable IP of all time while building my own brand legacy. I want the Hart name to live on for generations to come.”
Jamie Salter, Founder and CEO of Authentic, praised Hart’s “unmatched” business instincts, noting that the partnership reflects a shared vision for long-term brand ownership. As Hart continues to oversee successful ventures like Hartbeat and Gran Coramino, this alliance ensures the “Hart” name becomes a permanent fixture in the global lifestyle landscape.
