Building on the momentum of last year’s CELL Geo 1 collaboration, _J.L-A.L and PUMA have reunited at Paris Fashion Week again to push the boundaries of footwear architecture. Shifting from the layered, two-tone leather aesthetic of their debut, this latest collaboration introduces a futuristic PUMA CELL silhouette defined by a striking, one-piece sculptural upper.
The design completely abandons traditional paneling in favor of a dense, perforated, honeycomb-inspired structure. This organic look perfectly mirrors _J.L-A.L’s core philosophy of deriving functional aesthetics from nature to balance protection and comfort. It feels as if PUMA’s iconic CELL cushioning has migrated from the sole to the entire upper, resulting in a shoe that feels both biological and architectural.
