If you’re a soccer fan living in the U.S., you already know how big the FIFA World Cup ‘26 is going to be. It’s the first time in over 30 years that the tournament’s coming back to North America. And this time, it’s bigger than ever with 48 teams, 104 matches and millions of fans flooding into cities across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. But what you might not know is that Verizon is bringing fans closer to the action than anyone else. You could be a part of it, all for free, if you’re a Verizon customer.

With Verizon Ultimate Access, the brand is putting its customers directly into the action. Starting October 2 at 9AM ET, Verizon customers can claim free World Cup tickets through the My Verizon app. These are not last-minute leftover seats either but legit passes to group stage matchups, knockout rounds and even the final. No long forms, just first-come, first-served drops. And if you’re feeling lucky, there’s something even more covet-worthy: Verizon’s rolling out “Golden Tickets” that let fans watch the match pitchside. It’s the kind of once-in-a-lifetime view usually reserved for VIPs, sponsors or the occasional retired legend. A sweepstakes for those tickets kicks off in November, but Verizon’s also planning activations and giveaways across the country where more fans can win.

To keep the energy up, they’re tapping an all-star cast of players and personalities to join the ride. Yes, David Beckham stars in the campaign, but you’ve also got names like Tim Howard, Chucky Lozano, Sergio Agüero and even rising stars like Alyssa and Gisele Thompson showing up in different touchpoints along the way. There’ll be special events, merch collaborations and surprises dropped throughout the lead-up to the tournament.

What makes all of this work is that Verizon is actually running the tech behind the entire event. As FIFA’s official telecom sponsor, Verizon is powering the 5G infrastructure that’s going to keep fans connected inside stadiums and around host cities.Verizon’s also been investing in soccer long before this campaign—through partnerships with LALIGA North America, and clubs like the Houston Dynamo and Dash. But Ultimate Access is their boldest move yet and it’s truly for the fans who thought something like this was out of their league.

Head on over to Verizon’s official site to learn more Ultimate Access and how to enter.
