A unique 2025 Ferrari Daytona SP3 “Tailor Made” has sold for a record-breaking $26 million USD at the RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction, setting a new record for the highest price ever paid for a new Ferrari at auction. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Ferrari Foundation, a charity that supports global educational initiatives.

This specific Daytona SP3, referred to as the “599+1,” was a singular, “Tailor Made” edition created as an extra example beyond the original 599-unit production run that was already sold out. The car features a striking livery of yellow (Giallo Modena) paint and glossy exposed carbon fiber. It’s the first Ferrari road car to have a full-length Ferrari logotype graphic stretching across its entire body, a bold design choice that makes it a true one-of-a-kind piece.

The interior is just as unique. The upholstery is made from an innovative Q-Cycle fabric, a sustainable material derived from recycled tires. The dashboard and steering wheel are even clad in carbon fiber sourced directly from the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team. At its core, the car is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 829 horsepower, capable of going from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.85 seconds.
