An alien with chubby cheeks and a taste for cosmic sweets has landed in Jakarta. Butter Baby, the interstellar dessert brand from founders Nick and Henry Burch, has opened its first flagship store in the heart of Blok M, transforming the neighborhood into a portal to Butterlandia. The space channels a glowing, chrome-accented world where donuts float, colors pop, and exclusive merch begs to be collected — setting the tone for an immersive, otherworldly dessert experience.

Joining the Burch Brothers at the opening on the 9th August were Bright, Gulf and Nene; well-known Thai superstars with massive fan followings across Asia.

Butter Baby trailblazes as the first character-driven dessert brand, fusing design, storytelling, merch and indulgence into one irresistible concept. Inside the flagship, Jakarta-born pastry talent Dedy Sutan Supriady, known for his bold and inventive approach, leads the kitchen. The menu features 12 unique donut creations including a range of crispy donuts, cookies fresh from the oven, silky soft serve, and the signature Butter Toast — handmade with New Zealand butter and halal-certified premium ingredients for a rich, comforting bite.

Standout flavors include the Banana Crunch with gooey banana and cream cheese, the savory Opor Ayam Crunch that reimagines a local favorite, and the Disco Donut, which releases a sugary puff with every bite. Drinks like Lychee Galaxy Butter Boba and Crackling Pistachio are crafted to complement the sweets, adding layers of texture and taste to the Butter Baby experience. Every item is designed not only to satisfy but also to be photographed, shared, and remembered.

The Blok M opening also marks the debut of Butter Baby’s limited-edition merchandise line, a mix of collectibles and wardrobe staples for fans to wear, gift, and keep. Ready to step into Butterlandia? The flagship is now open at Pasaraya, Blok M, Jakarta. Follow @butterbaby and @butterbabyindonesia for updates, and don’t leave without your donut, your merch, and maybe a little space dust on your hands.
