Italian luxury house Giorgio Armani has unveiled plans to build Armani’s first-ever branded residences on the seaside of Ras Al Khaimah in the U.A.E. In celebration of its 50th anniversary as a company and the 25th anniversary of Armani/Casa, the company is taking the opportunity to grow new roots in the burgeoning luxury market of the MENA (Middle East/North Africa) region.
Breaking ground on the attractive Raha Island district of Ras Al Khaimah, the completed project will entail a highly exclusive and limited collection of Armani-branded beach villas and luxury apartments. Along with direct private beach access and panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and the Jebel Jais Mountains, partner RAK Properties and the Armani team are designing an experience that distills the sophistication of the Italian designer’s creative vision.
“New projects related to living fascinate me because I can bring the way of thinking of Haute Couture, that is, the use of precious materials and unique, tailored creations, into the space where we live,” said Giorgio Armani in a statement.
Drawing inspiration from Giorgio Armani’s personal residences and design aesthetic, the Armani Beach Residences embody the luxurious Armani brand ethos. Residents of the forthcoming community will gain access to a members-only beach club, as well as a program of services courtesy of the luxury house, including special events, private experiences, concierge services, and global privileges.
“The villas developed in collaboration with RAK Properties, a true excellence in the sector, represent an important milestone in this journey and are even more significant because they are designed to integrate into the evocative surrounding marine landscape, offering a unique lifestyle experience,” Armani concluded.
