This significant achievement, noted on the list dated June 7, sets a new standard since the chart’s consolidation in October 1958.
“luther” now surpasses the record previously held by Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which spent 22 weeks at No. 1 between 2024 and 2025. Before this, SZA’s own “Kill Bill” held the title with 21 weeks of domination. For its record-breaking week, “luther” garnered 16.5 million official U.S. streams and 57.5 million in airplay audience. The track has maintained its No. 1 position for the past 15 consecutive weeks.
Outside of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, the track also currently sits at No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. Meanwhile, it retains its No. 5 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
