Warner Bros. Games and DC have officially set the global launch date for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight for May 29, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The open-world action-adventure game, developed by TT Games, invites players to step into the epic journey of Bruce Wayne.

Revealed at The Game Awards by a special appearance from LEGO Batman himself, a new “Heroes & Villains” trailer showcased the Caped Crusader and his allies. Players will join forces with a stylish squad including Robin, who wields a trusty line launcher; Nightwing, armed with his battle staff; Batgirl, featuring a versatile hackarang; and Catwoman, accompanied by her loyal companion kitten and signature whip. Each character boasts unique abilities, progression trees, and gadgets.

The game promises an extensive wardrobe, with the Standard Edition alone offering over 100 Suits and Outfits inspired by Batman’s long legacy in film, television, comics, and games. Furthermore, an array of over 20 Batmobiles and Batcycles, including the legendary Tumbler, will be available to traverse Gotham City.

Watch the trailer above. Pre-orders for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions begin December 11. The Standard Edition pre-order includes The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit at launch, while the Deluxe Edition grants a 72-hour early access beginning May 26, 2026.
