Denim Tears Launches Standalone Denim Label
Introducing DENIM BY DENIM TEARS.
Summary
- Denim Tears launches its standalone denim label, DENIM BY DENIM TEARS, marking a new phase of creative independence
- The debut collection revives the Cotton Wreath motif across Straight and Loose silhouettes in multiple washes
Denim Tears, the brand founded by Tremaine Emory, has announced the launch of its dedicated denim label, DENIM BY DENIM TEARS. After years of expressing its ideas through Levi’s, denim has become a direct symbol of the label’s evolution and creative autonomy. This inaugural release establishes the category’s intent clearly: denim that is unmistakably Denim Tears, rooted in the brand’s cultural storytelling and material sensibility.
The inaugural collection prominently revisits the brand’s iconic “Cotton Wreath” motif, first seen in their highly successful collaboration with Levi’s, now applying it to a broader range of styles and washes. The initial offering includes two key silhouettes: the D-TEARS Signature Straight Leg Jean and the D-TEARS Loose Fit Jean. These are available in various washes, including vintage indigo, bleached indigo, and black. Key details include custom-designed rivets, new hardware featuring the Cotton Wreath logo, and unique stitching patterns that nod to historical garments.
The DENIM BY DENIM TEARS brand is launching exclusively via the Denim Tears webstore today, with prices. The initial collection is priced between $250 – $450 USD, with subsequent drops down the pipeline.
