As the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaches, Nike is increasing its focus on the soccer boot market with the highly anticipated release of the Kobe Bryant x Nike Phantom 6 Elite FG SE. This special edition honors the late Black Mamba’s deep love for soccer, built from his childhood and his personal friendships with football legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The release features two styles of the Phantom 6: a low-top and a high-top versions. Echoing past “Mamba” sneaker designs, the silhouette showcases a sail reptile-inspired texture. For a striking contrast, iridescent green accents highlight the forefoot Swoosh, heel counter, and tongue logo. Sticking to the “Mamba” theme, the outsole is fitted with cleats designed to resemble fangs. Inside, the design is finished with custom insoles featuring a snakeskin pattern, adding a distinct touch to the boots.
