Nike is set to expand its golf footwear offerings with a new “WM Phoenix Open” edition of the Air Max 95 Golf. This release pays homage to the famous Phoenix tournament, one of the PGA TOUR most-attended events, by blending classic golf aesthetics with a fresh, dynamic design.
The shoe’s upper features a layered construction of perforated leather, canvas, and hairy suede, offering a high-quality and functional look. Brown leather accents on the tongue and heel introduce a vintage golf sensibility. Adding a distinctive touch, the sneaker comes with a matching brown leather tassel hangtag and a thick green Swoosh on the lateral side that complements the green central portion of the outsole.
For the golf iteration of the Air Max 95, the iconic “Big Bubble” design is replaced with a thinner midsole and Air unit, similar to the Air Max 95 Ultra model, to enhance stability. In addition, the most crucial golf-specific enhancement is the improved tread pattern on the outsole.
While an official launch date is pending, the Nike Air Max 95 Golf “WM Phoenix Open” is expected to drop in Spring 2026.
