Showcasing SS26 pieces in a new light and debuting all-new jewelry.
Summary
- Maison Margiela’s Holiday 2025 campaign, shot by Frank Lebon, features models in silk masks, emphasizing anonymity and showcasing key looks from the Avant-Première SS26 collection.
- The collection highlights include the ‘Pressed and Foiled’ trench coat, bias-cut gowns, metallic Tabi boots, and distorted bags like the 5AC Soft XL.
Under Glenn Martens, Maison Margiela has noticeably stepped up its campaign game. Following up on stunning visuals like the Miley Cyrus campaign unveiled last summer, the holiday 2025 campaign shot by Frank Lebon continues to set the bar high.
With a flurry of metallic confetti and the Maison’s numeric logo, all of the models’ faces are obscured by silk masks, in line with the very Margiela theme of anonymity. Featuring a curation from the Avant-Première SS26 collection, key women’s numbers include a wool knit two-piece boasting a faded gradient, bias-cut gowns, and evening dresses embellished with metallic foil. Standing out is a trench coat transformed by Margiela’s ‘Pressed and Foiled’ technique, tailoring numbers finished with a slick patina. Elsewhere, the silken Robe de Chambre reimagines a loungewear staple as eveningwear.
In footwear, metallic-gilded Tabi boots join the classic model, while in bags, the 5AC Soft XL and 5AC East-West Small are characterized by a distorted shape. Along with an assortment of bag charms, the label debuts an all-new Numeric twisted diamond cuff bracelet.
