Chadwick Boseman is posthumously receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The late actor’s star will be placed at 6904 Hollywood Boulevard across the Hollywood Experience. Speaking at the ceremony on November 20 are Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom co-star Viola Davis. Simone Ledward-Boseman, Boseman’s widow, will accept the award on his behalf.
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is deeply honored to celebrate Chadwick Boseman’s extraordinary legacy with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Ana Martinez, Hollywood Walk of Fame producer, said in a statement. “His powerful performances and enduring impact both on and off screen continue to inspire generations around the world.”
The ceremony takes place November 20.
