AMIRI’s Pre-Spring 2026 collection, titled “Hollywood Breakfast Club”, draws inspiration from John Hughes’ iconic 1985 film The Breakfast Club, channeling its themes of youthful contradiction and collective identity. The campaign imagery, shot on location at John Marshall High School in Los Feliz, captures a group of young dreamers whose diverse personalities – the rebel, the athlete, the artist and the romantic – come together to form an unlikely collective whole.
Each look in the collection is a study in individuality, yet together they form a harmonious narrative of contrast. Mike Amiri’s designs embrace the fluidity of identity, layering vintage-inspired pieces with contemporary silhouettes to reflect the evolving nature of self-expression. Pre-worn leather bombers, faux fur jackets and relaxed layering evoke the laid-back ease of California, while the interplay of sporty and preppy elements highlights the coexistence of different personas. The result is a wardrobe that celebrates the unlikely camaraderie of youth, where style becomes a language of discovery and rebellion.
The garmets merges modern sportswear references with nostalgic collegiate codes, creating a fusion of eras and aesthetics. Patinated leathers are cut into bombers and biker jackets, mini-skirts are paired with penny loafers, with ties are neatly knotted beneath embroidered letterman jackets. Signature AMIRI distressed denim, varsity patched and pieced, is styled with sports-inspired knits and reimagined preppy staples.
Accessories such as the Pacific, Court, and Low Top sneakers, alongside the Micro MA Bag, reinforce the brand’s icons, while the AMIRI logo and MA Monogram are reinterpreted as emblems of belonging — akin to a school crest or band insignia, symbolizing communities united by shared identity.
