Parmigiani Fleurier has partnered with The Forty First Foundation to release the Tonda PF Sport Chronograph Longhorn Limited Edition — a tribute to the University of Texas at Austin that marries Swiss haute horlogerie with collegiate heritage. The model marks the first time the Tonda PF Sport is offered in both stainless steel and 18-carat rose gold with integrated bracelets, but with each case’s 9 o’clock flank engraved with the Texas Longhorn emblem as a clear signifier of UT pride.
The Longhorn edition’s dial pairs a silver field with mid‑gray subdials and Burnt Orange accents spanning hour markers, subdial numerals and the date to echo the university’s signature colorway. The rose‑gold variant also uses hand‑applied 18-carat rose‑gold appliqués and skeletonized delta hands with Burnt Orange Super‑LumiNova. Case dimensions read 42 mm diameter by 12.9 mm thickness, with an AR‑coated sapphire crystal, screw‑down crown and the Maison’s signature knurled bezel.
At the heart of the watch is the in‑house Caliber PF070, a COSC‑certified, high‑frequency integrated chronograph running at 36,000 vph) The movement delivers a robust 65‑hour power reserve, comprises 315 components and 42 jewels, and is finished with satin‑worked open bridges, beveled edges and a 22‑carat rose gold skeletonized winding rotor visible through a sapphire caseback.
This Longhorn release is strictly limited – 40 pieces in stainless steel and 10 in rose gold – and each watch ships with two additional hand‑stitched rubber straps in exclusive Tufo and Burnt Orange colors. Proceeds from sales will support The Forty First Foundation’s campus and community initiatives, including student food banks, pantries and arts funding, linking the limited edition’s commercial launch to philanthropic impact.
