Global icon and King of Mandopop Jay Chou is partnering with JOOPITER for two significant auctions: “JAY CHOU: A Legacy in Artistry” and “A Contemporary Take: A Look with Jay Chou.” The first sale, featuring fourteen rare pieces from Chou’s personal archive and career, will be open for global bidding from October 23 to November 4, 2025. Net proceeds from this sale are set to benefit a charitable initiative supported by Chou.
Highlights from his personal collection include the custom Stage Worn White and Gold Sequin Dragon Jacket, Top and Pants from the first phase of the Carnival World Tour (2019-2020), estimated at $2,000 to USD $3,000 USD. Also featured is his custom Rhinestone Rose Gold Microphone used during The Invincible World Tour ($4,000 USD to $6,000 USD), a symbol of his vocal artistry. A one-of-one Tudor Black Bay Chronograph Watch ($15,000 USD to $20,000 USD), etched with his initials JCon the back, is another standout lot.
Running in tandem is the contemporary art sale, which showcases 25 exceptional artworks meticulously curated by Chou, an established collector and patron. This collection includes works by Yoshitomo Nara, such as Pretty Evil, and pieces by artists like Henry Taylor, Daniel Richter, and Walton Ford.
In celebration of the auctions, JOOPITER and Chou have released a limited-edition baseball cap and T-shirt, both of which take inspiration from his stage wardrobe.
