Project Angel Food is teaming up with Bonhams for the return of ANGEL ART on Thursday, February 27, 2025. The benefit auction will donate 100% of its proceeds to support the organization’s vital work, and aims to unite the art community in support those affected by the Los Angeles fires.

Founded in 1989, Project Angel Food prepares and delivers over 1.5 million medically tailored meals each year to those affected by life-threatening illness. Partnering with the county’s Food Equity Roundtable, they are stepping in to support overstretched organizations that are unable to meet the demand for meals in the disaster.

The auction brings together an impressive lineup of works by renowned artists, including Ed Ruscha, Shepard Fairey, John Baldessari and Helen Frankenthaler. Emerging voices like Awol Erizku, Carmen Argote, Todd Gray and Nao Bustamante also join the roster.

Also among the highlights are donated works from four artists who, despite losing their homes, continue to champion the spirit of creativity and resilience.

This event comes at a critical moment, as the wildfire has not only displaced residents, but deepened the struggles of the city’s most vulnerable populations. “ANGEL ART is crucial for sustaining our transformative work,” Project Angel Food CEO Richard Ayoub expressed in a recent press statement. “In these trying times, the engagement of artists, patrons, and partners like Bonhams is more vital than ever to deliver relief and hope to those who need it most.”

Ahead of the auction, a public preview will be held at Bonhams Los Angeles from February 25–27. A concurrent online auction featuring over 60 lots will run from February 13–27.

For more information about the auction and how to purchase tickets, head to the organization’s site.
