Japanese fascination with American style runs deep. So much so that the country arguably took America’s one staple – denim – and made it even better. While the influence of workwear is undeniable within portions of the Japanese streetwear community, Ivy League prep may have even greater pull. And this is where disruptive Japanese lifestyle golf label ANTi COUNTRY CLUB TOKYO found inspiration for its latest collection.

Tapping Metalwood Studio founder Cole Young for the photoshoot, the collection was originally debuted at Metalwood’s Los Angeles storefront on December 20. There are a few hero pieces to call out, one of which is the varsity jacket with brown leather sleeves and a wool herringbone body. ACC lettering graces the right chest of the jacket while a much larger chenille golf ball emblem highlights the reverse side. The striped button up is another key piece, standing out with contrast sleeves and a combination of pink, yellow and blue channeling vintage Polo Ralph Lauren. Creative directors and founder Yosuku Sasagawa and Shino Yanagisawa styled the shirt underneath relaxed hoodies and paired with over-the-knee plaid shorts.

The full collection is available now over on ANTi COUNTRY CLUB’s website.
