Update: Release for Taqwa Bint Ali’s latest project with adidas nears and we now have an official preview of the two-part collaboration’s Megaride Mary-Jane in an “Iron Metallic” that matches its Adistar Pose that we discussed previously below. Both draw inspiration from ballet with tongues removed from their lacing systems. The Megaride Mary-Jane foregoes laces completely in favor of a new Velcro strap instead. Each are said to arrive in premium packaging that features co-branding from the two as a global launch is scheduled for January 22 via adidas and select retailers. The Adistar Pose will be available for $130 USD while the Megaride Mary-Jane comes in at a price of $200 USD.
