Siegelman Stable and American Red Cross Unveil Hat Collab for Nashville Blood Drive
Modeled by Aurora Anthony, the hats will be distributed to those who donate blood.
Siegelman Stable has designed an exclusive red and black cap as part of the American Red Cross’ “Drop for Drop” program. The brand itself is rooted in charity – a portion of the proceeds from all its sales go towards equine therapy – and with this new initiative, Siegelman Stable aims to draw out people to donate at blood drives.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, blood drives that would typically be held at schools and colleges were put on pause and, as a result, donation numbers plummeted.
Siegelman Stable and the Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive across the street from Nashville’s Vanderbilt University at The Ruby on September 14. Those who donate blood will receive a complimentary limited-edition Red Cross x Siegelman Stable cap, which won’t be available for purchase.
“Bringing equine therapy opportunities is at the core of Siegelman Stable. Giving opportunities to people who need to cope with physical, mental and emotional injuries. Most of the foundations are run by volunteers who devote their lives to help others,” founder Max Siegelman and Creative Director Karoline Spenning said.
“The Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services – from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping you be prepared to respond in emergencies. Giving back is giving back and any organization we can attach to and help to accomplish those missions, is who we want to work with.”
Those interested can sign up to donate blood at the September 14 event. A limited number of walk-in slots will be available.
