Adrian Appiolaza Tells Us To "Get Happy" at Moschino SS25
Clean white laundry hung from the ceiling at Milan Fashion Week, presenting a graphic-heavy collection packed with fun.
Adrian Appiolaza is rejuvenating Moschino. The creative director promotes fun at every runway show, making his Moschino debut earlier this year while presenting his first menswear collection at Milan Fashion Week Men’s in June. Appiolaza invokes a carefree attitude for his second womenswear line, airing out his clean laundry in the Italian fashion capital.
Shimmering beats filled Moschino Spring/Summer 2025, draping the concrete venue in freshly tumbled white laundry. The first few looks reflected the atmosphere perfectly, wrapping models in pure white dresses cascading with enhanced movement. Illustrated suiting completed the first chapter, forming polka-dotted ensembles, printed sailor uniforms, and smart trench coats with faux buttons.
Moschino’s loud extravagance came alive next, featuring jumbo-sized branding and scribbled lettering. Oversized T-shirt dresses donned “THINK” scriptures asking you to question life, while cropped motorcycle jackets and clasped leather skirts oozed with rebellion. Appiolaza inserted elevated elegance with all-black looks, featuring pearled corsets, post-it-stamped dresses, and smiley face accessories to lift your mood. Finally, fringed gear drowned lettered gowns and lightweight maxi skirts complemented by leather briefcases and clear eyewear. Moschino exudes joy with “GET HAPPY” outerwear, completing SS25 with cord-tied exposed uniforms.
