AARON ESH Proves He Is a British Powerhouse for SS25
Referencing the likes of Maison Margiela and Alexander McQueen while paying tribute to his late mentor Katy England.
AARON ESH continues to prove himself in the British fashion landscape, honing on darkened sensuality while expanding his design language with every coming season. The LVMH Prize finalist and 2024/25 NEWGEN recipient arrived in London on Saturday evening, hosting his third official runway show celebrating UK talent, diversity, and energy.
AARON ESH mixes the old with the new for Spring/Summer 2025, exploring the concept of high-end vintage while pulling strong references from the likes of Alexander McQueen and Maison Margiela. The collection is a turning point in his career thus far, hoping to establish his fashion house as the next big thing — succeeding in his search for domination by stealing London Fashion Week before it ended.
Paying tribute to his longtime mentor and stylist Katy England, the designer explored her expansive archive for inspiration while celebrating his artist residence at the Sarabande Foundation. ESH’s SS25 collection isn’t what it seems, creating handmade garments that change with time. Models stormed the runway in dynamic leather suiting with hidden suede panels, followed by flowing silk dresses sewn by hand. Draped silk shirting is frayed and gives off a pre-worn effect, while dresses feature integrated thumb straps to hold on the run.
Elsewhere, sheer tank tops are strapped with glossy ribbons for additional flair, paired with buttoned leather trousers that can be opened for dual styling. High-shine cropped blazers are crafted in velvet and leave evidence to the touch, designing slim-cut silhouettes that fit the body perfectly. AARON ESH has proven that he is ahead of his time, and we’re here to watch him grow proudly.
