Salehe Bembury Reveals Second Entry in "Art Friends Thumbs Up Good Job" Crocs Series
Spotlighting artist Jonas Wood with a Pollex Clog limited to only 1000 pairs.

Salehe Bembury and Crocs are back with another entry in their “Art Friends Thumbs Up Good Job” (AFTUGJ) series. The new line of Crocs Pollex Clog releases began with a collaboration featuring Futura back in February. Now, it’s expanding by featuring Jonas Wood.
A contemporary artist based out of Los Angeles, Wood has been best known for his genre defying portraits, still life and landscapes. Some of his most recognizable works include his basketball prints and paintings, utilizing his bold colors and graphics that often combined historical references with images of objects, interiors and people. His signature translation of the three-dimensional world into a flat, vivid one has taken him around the globe with various exhibitions in galleries. His unique perspective of using line and flat color to create an unexpected vision of scale has earned him one of the most uniquely recognizable aesthetics in the art world.
The Crocs clog collaboration takes on Wood’s stippling technique and color blocking in hues of blue, grey and black throughout the shoe. Releasing as a part of the “Art Friends Thumbs Up Good Job” series, the shoe is dropping on August 22 at 9 a.m. PST at online at BeASpunge. Only 1000 pairs will be available.
