First Look at HBO and Max's 2025 Shows Revealed

Max has revealed a sneak peek of its 2025 slate, including hit titles like The Last of Us and The White Lotus. The trailer showcases HBO’s and Max’s stacked list of original titles set to premiere in late 2024 and 2025.

Coming in 2024, The Penguin limited series premieres September 19 and focuses on the life of the iconic villain set in the same universe as 2022’s The Batman. Dune Prophecy, a prequel series set ten thousand years before the events of the Dune films is set to premiere sometime in November.

For the rest of the HBO 2024 slate, Industry premieres August 11, Hard Knocks: Training Camp With The Chicago Bears premieres August 6, My Brilliant Friend premieres September 9, Chimp Crazy premieres August 18 and Wise Guy David Chase and The Sopranos and The Franchise have yet to receive premiere dates. Max originals also get a feature with The Sex Lives of College Girls, Creature Commandos and Harley Quinn also coming later this year.

2025 brings back some of HBO’s most beloved shows like The White Lotus with the teaser showing the Thailand setting and new and returning characters. And Just Like That, The Gilded Age and The Last of Us are also set to return for highly anticipated new seasons. The Last of Us gets the biggest feature as it closes out the trailer, showing Pedro Pascal’s Joel interacting with Catherine O’Hara’s new character.

New series are also on the way in the new year as the IT prequel series IT: Welcome to Derry and the Game of Thrones spin-off series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will premiere to fans delight. Other new 2025 series include Duster and The Pitt.
