This Bogey Boys x Ebbets Field Collection Isn't Out of Left Field
The 11-piece range is highlighted by baseball jerseys and rounded out with coach jackets and hoodies.
Contemporary label Bogey Boys, founded in 2019 by Seattle rapper Macklemore, thrives on a feeling of nostalgia for the golden age of golf fashion, or as Macklemore describes it a time ‘when people got dressed to play golf.’ As the 2000s turned into the 2010s, golf fashion took a turn towards prioritizing performance as players looked to redefine themselves as athletes and traded in cotton for polyester polos. But Bogey Boys encourages a movement back (or forward depending on your point of view) towards premium fabrics, so teaming up with the angels in the outfield from vintage-inspired Ebbets Field Flannels isn’t so out of left field.
The 11-piece collection is led by classic baseball jersey complete with pinstripes and embroidered patches. Constructed from wool flannel like the uniforms of old, the Bogey Boys logo is placed at the center of the jersey as if it were the team name while a co-branded patch is sewn on to the bottom right. The other jersey, the away change if you will, is mostly navy and devoid of buttons. Instead, this pull-over style shirt is more reminiscent of baseball in the 90s with its double-knit polyester construction, v-neck and stretchy collar and cuffs. Accompanying these hero pieces are baseball and trucker caps, t-shirts, hoodies, coach jackets and accessories.
Pricing for the collection ranges between $10 and $250 USD, and all the items can be purchased on Bogey Boys website and select Lids locations now.
