Shayne Oliver's Anonymous Club Redefines Hooded Streetwear for SS25
The Hood By Air founder leaves NYC behind to grow his relatively new label with monstrous silhouettes.
It was hot and sweaty in the waiting room of Shayne Oliver‘s Anonymous Club. The label hosted its Spring/Summer 2025 runway show in the underground lots of Berlin’s Tempodrom performance center. After a short delay, hundreds of guests were welcomed into the dim-lit venue, which was mounted with wall-side grid seats and a metal-trimmed circular runway.
Anonymous Club ignited a Berlin-style rave for SS25, seeing Oliver showcase streetwear brilliance on the first night of Berlin Fashion Week. The Hood By Air founder has left the bustling streets of New York City behind, growing his relatively new label by redefining hooded essentials with monstrous appeal. While Anonymous Club’s SS25 collection intends to conceal the body with manipulative sweatsuits, the brand couldn’t be any less “anonymous,” seeing Oliver highlight his diverse approach to modern-day streetwear with gigantic silhouettes that make clear statements.
As guests clamored to their seats, including an unexpected appearance by Ye, Anonymous Club began to usher its collection around the runway. The first model stepped out in an inflated towel wrapped overhead, paired with the brand’s singular Shaft Boots and clear plastic shades. Additionally, sleeveless tops sprouted with humorous face openings flipped upside down to reveal dangling hood flaps. Tonal embroidered lettering bulged from slashed crewnecks matched with bearly-there short shorts, while pocketed bomber jackets shined under the spotlight, followed by striped uniforms destined for the football field.
The striking collection continued to promote a sense of newness on the runway, featuring floor-length quilted vests and shielding scarves, reimaging the cold-weather staple as a complete garment. Finally, needle-pricked dog graphics landed on cropped tees with American “I Voted” stamps, criticizing US political policies alongside “SALEM” denim with patchwork embellishments.
