Shaboozey is making waves for his single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” this summer and the most recent stat proves it. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart this week in the United States, while also simultaneously topping the Hot Country Songs list. Shaboozey makes history as he now has the first song by a Black male artist that hs been on both charts at the same time.

Debuted earlier this April, the song has steadily climbed atop the charts this summer, proving to the anthem of the season. Recently performing the track at Mike Rubin’s famous all-white Fourth of July part, the song continues to be a catch. The song landed its No. 1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart shortly after the artist made his Stagecoach debut, replacing Beyoncé‘s “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Having been featured on many of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, Shaboozey’s popularity skyrocketed. All the tracks he did with Beyoncé including “Spaghettii,” “Sweet * Honey Buckiin’” also landed him on the Hot 100 list. His currently LP Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going” is now No. 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Other notable places on the chart include Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department album which sits at No. 1 for the 11th consecutive week. New artists like Sabrina Carpenter hit the Top 10 this week with “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” at No. 4 and 6 respectively.
