Peggy Gou Electrifies Don Julio's Epic Anniversary Bash in Singapore

After making its Southeast Asian debut last year, premium añejo tequila brand Don Julio returned to MARQUEE Nightclub to honor the first anniversary of its launch in Singapore.
Known for its immersive and tech-froward atmosphere, MARQUEE Nightclub set the stage for a celebration supporting the pursuit of passion. Don Julio’s ongoing “Por Amor” campaign translates to “For Love” and the phrase is inspired by its founder Don Julio González’s journey to success. Encouraged by his drive for perfection and an unwavering trust in himself, “Por Amor” encourages audiences to follow their hearts and unconventional vision of the future for the love of it.
International DJ-producer and long term partner of Don Julio, Peggy Gou returned to the MARQUEE stage to perform. From landing her first DJ-ing gig in Soho to amassing numerous music award nominations, Gou’s ever-evolving craft and commitment to innovation echoes the spirit brand’s ethos for relentless pursuit. Gou’s electrifying sounds captivated the crowd and made the anniversary party complete. “It’s a meeting of two visionaries who share a commitment to excellence and a desire to push the boundaries of their craft,” says Diageo Marketing Director, Lyndon Govender.
Connecting with guests through a fusion of electronic dance music and premium spirits, the Don Julio one year anniversary celebration also attracted attendees like DJ Jade Rasif, renowned fashion designer Do Long, and Thai actor Krissanapoom Pibulsonggram.

This year, Don Julio also introduced the Ultima Reserva and Rosado tequilas to the region. Great for celebrating milestones, the Ultima Reserva represents deep family legacy and craftsmanship through a 36 month maturation, blended with oak and vanilla. The pink-hued Rosado demonstrates an innovative design process using notes of dried red fruit and caramel, made to enjoy during daytime leisure.
