Take a Look at a Limited Edition Levi’s x Rubik’s Cube Made Using Deadstock Denim
A fashionable twist on the classic handheld puzzle.
Levi’s and Rubik’s Cube have teamed up to offer an unexpected twist on the classic handheld toy.
The Levi’s Rubik’s Cube is billed as creating a “fashionable tactile experience” with each square covered in Levi’s denim. For the blue side of the Cube, along with a display case bearing both brands’ logos, Levi’s made use of its indigo-colored deadstock denim.
For the other five sides, Levi’s used non-denim twill, dyed to match the yellow, red, green and white colors of the original Cube. A Levi’s logo adorns the center square on the denim side, while the Rubik’s logo appears on white side.
“Our Levi’s Rubik’s Cube is the merger of two iconic brands that inspire and connect people across generations and backgrounds,” Rubik’s Cube Marketing Director Sam Susz said. “Both born from innovation and backed by a strong legacy, we call on fans to make their move to solve the Rubik’s Cube that’s outfitted in authentic Levi’s denim.”
A limited number of Levi’s Rubik’s Cubes will release online July 26 for $50.10 USD (a nod to Levi’s iconic 501 jeans).
