Childish Gambino Announces Final Album 'Bando Stone & The New World'
Dropping July 19.
After revealing the trailer for his Bando Stone & The New World film earlier this week at the 2024 BET Awards, Childish Gambino has now given his sixth studio album of the same name an official release date.
Bando Stone & The New World, slated to be the last project Donald Glover releases under his Childish Gambino moniker, is set to release globally on July 19.
Gambino dropped off the first single, “Lithonia” from the forthcoming project today, which arrives as a rock-infused cut named after the city just east of his Atlanta hometown where his Atlanta series is set.

The musician is readying to embark upon his extensive The New World Tour, which makes 33 stops across North America, followed by a European/U.K. leg and closing out with five Australian shows. Today, Gambino announced he’ll tack on the CHILDISH GAMBINO LIVE FROM LITTLE ISLAND performance in New York City before the tour: an interactive Bando Stone & The New World listening experience going down this weekend, July 6.
Tickets to CHILDISH GAMBINO LIVE FROM LITTLE ISLAND go on sale beginning Wednesday, July 3 at 10 a.m. ET at Little Island’s website.
