A24 Unveils 'We Live in Time' Trailer
Led by Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield.
A24 has dropped off its latest trailer. We Live in Time stars Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield, and follows the “decade-spanning romance” between the two.
Directed by John Crowley, the film’s logline reads: “Almut (Pugh) and Tobias (Garfield) are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of the unconventional route their love story has taken, in filmmaker John Crowley’s decade-spanning, deeply moving romance.”
The film begins with Almut and Tobias’ origin story – which involves Almut hitting Tobias with her car – and chronicles the couple’s life of trials, tribulations, children, illness, and all of the unpredictables in between.
“Whether we like it or not, the clock is ticking… I’m worried there’s a very distinct and real possibility that I am about to fall in love with you,” Tobias tells Almut.
“I can’t bear to feel being forgotten,” cries Almut toward the close of the emotional rollercoaster of a first-look.
