Paris Fashion Week Men’s SS25

It’s that time of year when fashion month is in full swing. Currently, menswear collections for the Spring/Summer 2025 season are hitting the runway – first kicking off in London before stopping in Florence at Pitti Uomo and then heading to Milan. Now with a packed calendar, Paris Fashion Week is in full swing after kicking off on June 18.

With a roster of big names, showed have spanned big names like Louis Vuitton, Dior, Rick Owens, Junya Watanabe and more. For a comprehensive list of shows and reviews, check out Hypebeast’s coverage of Paris Fashion Week Men’s for the SS25 season.

Alessandro Michele Debuts His Valentino Vision with Resort 2025 Collection

Following Alessandro Michele’s departure from Gucci, it was announced that the designer would be taking his talents to Valentino this past March. To everyone’s surprise, the designer unexpectedly released Valentino’s Resort 2025 offering this week, marking his debut collection for the house.

Fusing 60s and 70s style with some of Valentino’s core codes, the new collection demonstrates Michele’s maximalist signature. Spanning 171 looks, the collection echoes some of the designer’s work at Gucci and is a clever departure from Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Valentino.

Luke Meier To Step Down as OAMC’s Creative Director

Luke Meier is stepping down as the creative director of OAMC, the brand he founded alongside Arnaud Faeh.

Since OAMC’s 2013 establishment, Luke Meier has served as the brand’s creative director – continuing to craft its self-expressive design vision. With his departure, the OAMC’s Spring/Summer 2024 offering was Meier’s last collection for the brand. Back in 2021, Meier and Faeh regained complete ownership of the brand after acquiring the minority stake from Onward Holdings. Even though Meier is departing the creative director role, he is set to lead specific projects.

“I would like to thank all those involved with OAMC, particularly Arnaud and Edwin Faeh, for their companionship, enthusiasm, and support in creating such a wonderful project,” said Meier. “I am confident in leaving the studio in very capable hands and look forward to the outstanding success that OAMC will achieve in the coming years.”

Rihanna Is the New Face of Dior J’Adore

Rihanna’s portfolio is never-ending. Now the star is the the new face of Dior’s signature J’Adore fragrance line. The selection is a fitting choice given Rihanna was the house’s first Black ambassador in 2015.

“Being the new face of J’adore is both an honor and a mission,” Rih said via the outlet. “I am especially looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity.”

Rihanna’s inaugural campaign for the line shot by Steven Klein is set to debut on September 1, according to Business of Fashion.

Thom Browne Reveals Made-in-Japan Eyewear Line

Thom Browne eyewear is making its return and this time its in house.

Previously, Thom Browne had a licensee partnership for its eyewear, which has since been terminated. By bringing eyewear back in-house, the brand has revealed a new collection of Japan-made sunglasses and eyeglasses.
