QASIMI Makes an Artistic Return to the Runway for SS25
Marking the brand’s first showcase under the creative direction of Hoor Al Qasimi.

London Fashion Week is coming to an end, but it isn’t complete without QASIMI. The London-based label hosted its first runway show under the creative direction of Hoor Al Qasimi, who took on the role after her brother’s passing in 2019. QASIMI’s return was sentimental and bold, outlining a new era for the brand while continuing to pay tribute to its Emirati founder.
QASIMI welcomed guests to East London’s Tower Hamlets neighborhood, which runs alongside the River Thames. Presented inside an old industrial building, the brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection was an artistic expression of cultural storytelling, collaborating with New York-based visual artist Kambui Olujimi on striking silhouettes with sculptural sensitivities.
“We honor Khalid’s legacy by staying true to his visionary approach and creative spirit in every collection. Each piece reflects his passion for design and his commitment to quality, ensuring that his influence remains at the heart of our brand. We also incorporate elements that resonate with his distinct aesthetic and values, keeping his memory alive through our work this season and every season,” Hoor Al Qasimi told Hypebeast.
Olujimi’s When Monuments Fall painting series is translated across the collection, inspecting current sociopolitical landscapes through powerful and contemporary narratives. Fluid silhouettes began the collection in pure white, followed by layered utility uniforms and boxy suiting in glossy satin textiles. QASIMI’s signature draping techniques were mirrored on hooded tops, trench coats, and effortless shirting in teal hues. Vibrant blue tones shined across wrap-around staples with formal underpinnings, while Olujimi’s abstract artwork popped from painted panels with an angelic aura.
