KidSuper’s Spring 2025 show is going to be a circus.

On Thursday, designer Colm Dillane announced that his artful fashion label has partnered with the world-famous Cirque du Soleil for its upcoming Paris Fashion Week spectacle, which is set to take place at the Trianon Theater on June 22 at 6 p.m. CET. The first-of-its-kind collaboration will combine a runway show with Cirque du Soleil performances, in a bid to expand on the “String Theory” concept Dillane introduced last season.

“This theme explores interconnectedness and the unseen forces shaping our world, using strings and puppetry to delve into who controls the strings in our lives, both literally and metaphorically,” reads an official statement. “This powerful metaphor challenges the audience to reflect on autonomy and interconnectedness, inviting viewers to question who or what controls the strings in their lives and how these influences shape their personal narratives.”

Dillane is known to stray from the standard runway format; in fact, atypical fashion week showcases might as well be embedded in KidSuper’s DNA. In the past, he’s created cartoons, produced claymations, staged auctions and hosted comedy specials to introduce KidSuper’s latest clothing lines. Each feat is a testament to his famous words: “I never got good advice from someone who didn’t take risks.”

“Colm’s ability to push creativity and expression is in perfect synergy with the Cirque du Soleil brand”, Melanie Summers, head of licensing for Cirque du Soleil, said in a statement. Mark your calendars for June 22 at 6 p.m. CET to witness all the theatrics KidSuper and Cirque du Soleil have planned this season.
