EarthGang and Snakehips To Collide on Collab EP: 'SNAKEGANG'
Kicking off the forthcoming project with “Been a Minute” featuring Sinead Harnett.
What do you get when you combine Atlanta rap collective EarthGang with UK electronic duo Snakehips? A collaborative EP aptly entitled SNAKEGANG, of course.
The duo kicked off the forthcoming five-track project with an electric lead single entitled “Been A Minute” also featuring Sinead Harnett.
“We wrote ‘Been A Minute’ back in January,” Snakehips recalled in a statement. “Sinead & EarthGang were both in LA to perform at our show and we got in the studio for a few hours before to make some new music.”
Snakehips has joined forces with both EarthGang and Harnett before, and the trio’s compatibility elevates the pristine production.
“The tune is about moving on from a bad relationship, getting away from the negativity, and moving forward with positivity and no bad feelings. It’s a good vibe and was super fun to cook up,” continued Snakehips.

“We’ve been fans of Snakehips’ sound for years before the first collab so it’s cool to bring this project to fruition. We hope it’s as fun to listen to as it was to make,” EarthGang added.
Stream “Been A Minute” on Spotify and Apple Music now and expect SNAKEGANG to release globally on Friday, July 19.
