Take a Closer Look at the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII Championship Rings
The back-to-back champions receive a ring made up of 529 diamonds and 38 rubies.
Just last night, the Kansas City Chiefs received their Super Bowl LVIII championship rings.
Cementing themselves as kings of the NFL for a second season in a row and third time in over half a decade, the Chiefs celebrated their win over the San Francisco 49ers, once more. The Chiefs dynast continues with head coach Andy Reid at the helm, along with Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce. Created by Jostens, the ring is made with 10-karat white and yellow gold with 529 diamonds and 38 rubies, all of which is placed strategically and with a backstory.
Filled with historic momentos, each of ring top sees an interlocked Chiefs arrowhead logo that is made with 16 custom-cut rubies. The rubies symbolize the franchise’s number of outright division titles. The arrowhead is fashioned in yellow gold and set with 50 diamonds and sees the logo sit atop four franchise Super Bowl trophies. Each ring reads “back-to-back” paying homage to their last win in 2023. Other noteable details include 22 sequential diamonds representing the points scored by Kansas City in the second half and overtime of the Super Bowl and a game-winning play drawn out using coach Reid’s handwriting. The 19 diamonds on the Super Bowl LVIII logo represent 11 consecutive winning seasons and eight straight AFC West titles. The Chiefs’ ring comprises of 14.8 carats, 505 round diamonds, 19 baguette diamonds, five marquise diamonds and 38 custom-cut genuine rubies.
