Update: Nike SB’s new “City of Cinema” colorway of the SB Dunk Low has again appeared, this time via the Swoosh’s official visuals. As confirmed by our second look at the shoe, its material composition has been updated since the initial sample popped up in May. Unlike many of the Paris-themed releases this year, it will not be releasing around the Olympic Games. Instead, it is scheduled to drop on December 14 via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops at a price of $125 USD. Enjoy the complete set of images above and review our previous coverage below for more info.

Update: One of many new designs to pop up at the end of May was a Paris-themed Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Cinema.” With a sample pair spotted, a new leak of the sneaker has revealed many changes to the design. Starting with the upper, its underlays now carry a texture that is similar to the overlays. The gold Swooshes have also been replaced by black ones with white contrast stitching while this pair sports maroon laces that match the velvet collar instead of the mustard yellow laces seen previously. In addition to this, it looks like the woven tongue tag has swapped base colors from maroon to dark brown while the sole unit has undergone several notable adjustments as well. Pivoting from a translucent outsole to a brown one, it’s the midsole that stands out the most as its stained detailing and yellow base have been exchanged for a plain off-white finish. Lastly, the thematic sockliner graphic has been updated to complete the new look. Release remains expected for the end of the year via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops so stay tuned for additional updates.

Original Story: Imagery of the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Cinema” have hit the internet thanks to @sbheadsbe.

The model takes great inspiration from the grandiose theaters of Paris. Its velvet-like base arrives with overlays of yellowed cracked leather that pay homage to the structure’s historical significance, while the tongue and collar’s plush velvet build in deep maroon mimic the theater’s opulent interiors.

A special Nike SB logo is stitched on to the tongue and stamped on the insoles, while its panel swoosh features a gradient of black and yellow. The shoe then rests on a yellow and brown midsole that celebrates the strong build of these theaters, while thick mustard laces tie the sneaker together for a clean finish.
