Kendrick Lamar Retaliates to Drake's "Family Matters" With Own Track "Meet the Grahams"
His second diss track in 24 hours addresses Drake’s entire family.
Kendrick Lamar is wasting no time to retaliate to Drake‘s “Family Matters” track. In less than 24 hours, Kendrick has dropped two diss tracks towards The 6God, unleashing the wrath not just on Drake, but his entire family. In the new song, “meet the grahams,” Kendrick gets explosive right away.
In four verses, Kendrick attempts to decimate Drake’s entire family, calling out his son Adonis, his mother Sandra and his father Dennis. One of the most shocking mentions is Kendrick alleging Drake has a daughter. Of course, all of this comes back to Drake himself. In his lyrics, Kendrick alludes that the Toronto rapper is allegedly hiding a daughter that is about 11-years-old. But later, Drake took to his Instagram story, to say rebut the claims writing, ” Hold on can someone find my hidden daughter pls and send her to me…these guys are in shambles.”
The cover photo for the track seems to be a play off of the same image of the Mayback gloves Kendrick used for “6:16 in LA.” This track sees a zoomed out photo of the same image that sees two bottles of pills, receipts, and other items that allegedly have Drake’s stamp on it. Attacking his parents and Drake’s characters, Kendrick compares The Boy to being a manipulator, a gambling addict and even Harvey Weinstein.
