Hypebeast Flea New York is going down at Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Terminal Market this weekend. Several of the 30+ vendors will offer interactive experiences at their booths, ranging from live screen-printing of T-shirts to on-site fit-check interviews and even a chance to compete in a Dance Dance Revolution tournament. Extra Vitamins
Extra Vitamins is known for its colorful, playful printed tees and its spotlighting of the beauty in imperfection — the brand’s “tester” print tees are even more rare and coveted than its standard releases. Look for Extra Vitamins to host a live screen-printing experience at Hypebeast Flea, one where you’ll be able to get a tee that was made on the spot.
Strawberry Western
Strawberry Western is reimagining what activewear can be. Instead of serious, stuffy neutrals, the brand presents both its exercise and casual garments in a fun-loving kawaii fashion (who says working out has to suck?) and that ethos is coming home to roost at its Hypebeast Flea New York booth, which will boast a fully functional Dance Dance Revolution machine. If you secure the top score of the weekend, you might even take home a prize.
Leisure Centre
Jeans? Jorts? Why pick when you can have ‘em both at the same time? You can bring your own jeans to Leisure Centre’s booth — or choose from its extensive selection of vintage pairs — and have the pants altered to be a convertible jean/jort combo with a zipper just above the knee. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you can even start wearing your new hybrids FloJo style.
Redoux
Redoux’s rich fragrances are one of its brand cornerstones. It’ll be serving up a special scent created just for Hypebeast Flea this weekend, and you can even watch it be made as the team will be crafting made-to-order bottles at its booth.
ALL CAPS STUDIO
The ALL CAPS STUDIO team cooks up clever graphic designs from their studio in Philadelphia, and you’ll get a chance to (metaphorically) step inside their workspace at Hypebeast Flea New York. There will be a camera stationed in front of a custom-designed background where attendees can get images and videos of themselves surrounded by an ACS moodboard.
KimtheProduct
KimtheProduct has created special nail sets for Hypebeast Flea New York, and she’ll be applying them live on-site the whole weekend. If you want a unique nail art experience, you don’t need to look any further.
Tooth Charm
Tooth Charm is offering a duo of grin-enhancing services at Hypebeast Flea New York. They’ll have their famous tooth gems on-hand for at-event application, and they’ll also be taking molds for custom grillz for those who want to add a little extra shine to their smile.
Rogue
Apart from its wealth of clothing offerings, Rogue is known for founder Emma Rogue’s off-the cuff sidewalk interviews. She’ll be doing on-site fit checks with the best-dressed attendees, so come correct if you’re looking to get your chance to shine.
