Dover Street Market Paris Announces Official Opening Date
Coming later this month, have a look inside the store in the meantime.

Adrian Joffe and Rei Kawakubo have officially announced the opening of Dover Street Market Paris.
Located in the now defunct Association 3537 that has occupied the same place for the past three years, Dover Street Market‘s Parisian chapter occupies the ground and first floors and one of the three basements of the spot, which was previously the Hôtel de Coulanges, between 1627 and 1634. The other two basements as well as the courtyard, are slated to house and entertain art, literary, music and community events. Same as before the second, third and fourth floors will continue to be for the DSMP Brand Development division.
Kawakubo-san has designed the entire store, including the Rose Bakery café. Embodying “New Chaos,” the nature of the design gives those who visit a chance to discover the space as well as the brands and pieces it houses. No clothing will be seen from the outside and there will not be a dedicated space or concessions. The idea of the store is let customers do the work in finding the pieces they want. To celebrate the opening, the store will host an installation and exhibition titled, Comme des Garçons for and by Paolo Roversi. Matty Bovan has also created an installation in the basement.
Located at 35-37, Rue des Francs-Bourgeois, Paris, 75004, Dover Street Market Paris’ opening date is on May 24. Take a look at the new store above.
